Switch is all about building a Christ-centered community that’s fun, engaging, and transformative.
As Jesus taught, our desire is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbors. We also want to go and make disciples of all nations. This is our mission.
The youth ministry of Old River Assembly for 6th - 12th grade students.
This isn’t just a youth group. This is a movement.
Our mission is to lead students to become S.E.E.ER.S (Saved. Equipped. Empowered. Released and Sent. Followers of Jesus Christ, fully devoted to Him. We’re more than a youth group—we’re a movement of students, leaders, and parents who are passionate about loving others and making them welcome, needed, and changed in God's Presence.
What to Expect!
Switch meets on Wednesday nights, doors open at 6:30 pm. Our service happens at 7:00-8:30 pm. We create a space where every student can belong, even before they believe. At a Switch experience, you can expect:
Worship
Each week is an opportunity and time to bring us closer to Jesus and recenter on what matters most.
Before anything else, we want to show the youth of Old River what it looks like to pause during
the busyness of life and direct their attention to the God who is always with them.
Message
Truth from God’s Word will be in every message, contextualized for our culture. The students will hear biblical truth about who God is, who they are, what following Jesus is really like, and how they can make a difference in the world.
Huddles
Life change is best in the context of relationships. Each student is placed in a Huddle of their peers and an adult leader who is passionate about investing in the next generation. These groups process life, faith, and following Jesus together!
