As Jesus taught, we desire to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. To become SEERS, fully devoted followers of Jesus, to go and make disciples of all nations. This is our mission.
The youth ministry of Old River Assembly for 6th - 12th-grade students.
This isn’t just a youth group. This is a movement.
Our mission is to lead students to become S.E.E.ER.S (Saved. Equipped. Empowered. Released and Sent. Followers of Jesus, fully devoted to Him. We’re more than a youth group—we’re a movement of students, leaders, and parents who are passionate about the next generation!
What to Expect!
Switch meets on Wednesday nights, doors open at 6:00 pm. Our service happens at 7:00-8:30 pm. We create a space where every student can belong, even before they believe. What you can expect:
Worship
Each week is an opportunity and time to bring us closer to Jesus and recenter on what matters most.
Before anything else, we want to show the youth of Old River what it looks like to pause during
the busyness of life and direct their attention to the God who is always with them.
Message
Truth from God’s Word will be in every message, contextualized for our culture. The students will hear biblical truth about who God is, who they are, what following Jesus is really like, and how they can make a difference in the world.
Alpha Series
Alpha is fundamentally built on a welcoming environment that provides a safe space for guests to explore faith and share their own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open group setting. We believe
that it is everyone’s responsibility to play their part in ensuring that a safe environment is maintained
for everyone on a course, including themselves.
